Types of Intelligence
Intelligence Workshops
Have you ever met someone who can create a beautiful work of art but cannot write a coherent sentence?
Or someone who writes wonderful, engaging, and thought-provoking stories but is unable to balance a checkbook?
Or other seeming inconsistencies in intellectual capabilities?
Why do these variations exist?
Is there something “wrong” with these people?
No, there is nothing “wrong” with them. They are simply more “gifted” or “talented” in one mental ability than in others.
The reality is that people come in all shapes and sizes:
-
tall or short,
-
thin or heavy,
-
lean or muscular
Some are more suited to certain types of work than others. Some are more adept at physically demanding manual labor, others more matched to being at a desk in an office. Even among athletes, some may be more skilled at weightlifting and others at long-distance running.
We accept that some people are better at certain sports or physical activities than others. We should also accept that people have different mental abilities.
This workshop will:
Introduce different Types of Intelligence
Explain each type's strengths.
Discuss possible careers and professions to which people with each type may gravitate and excel at.
Introduce Leadership Powerbases - Why your followers follow you
At the end of this workshop, attendees will know and understand the different types of intelligence, the attributes or each, and typical careers that might be pursued by people with each type of intelligence.
